Getting involved in student life
It’s really important to make the most from your time here at university. The more connections you make the more you’ll gain from your experience. Make sure to take the time to look around and see what opportunities you want to take advantage of.
Join societies, there’s something for everyone, sports clubs, represent your course mates as a student representative, attend extra curricular activities or perhaps become a student ambassador. We want you to gain the skills and experience that employers are looking for and will help you to stand out from the crowd when you leave.

What can I do with my degree?

Know yourself
All management school students have the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills and attributes throughout their academic studies, work experiences and extra curricular activities.
mySkills is an online tool to help you identify, develop and record reflections (development experiences) on your skills and attributes that you can then use in conversations with tutors, a careers advisor, for interview preparation and even for reflective assignments.

By monitoring your progress against the Sheffield Graduate Attributes you will graduate as a self aware reflective practitioner.
Team Focus
Another good place to start would be to complete some personality tests on Team Focus, which would allow you to understand how you work and what your career preferences are based on your personality profile.
