About the role
We are currently looking for an ambitious Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Finance Tribe in our Head Office in Manchester. Our Commercial Finance Team are responsible for business partnering our Sales and Product Teams by providing relevant insight and analysis, along with effective challenge to help them drive performance.
Your responsibilities will include providing commercial finance support to the Retailer Development & Support and Commercial Product squads, influencing and driving them to execute their full year financial plan. You will provide monthly and weekly insight into performance across your squads, and will lead the annual financial plan and rolling forecast processes.
You will also be undertake a monthly review and analysis of revenue and other key metrics. Working with our Business Insight and Reporting teams, you will ensure information is relevant and meets business needs in order to drive strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Experience in a business partnering role and can demonstrate where you have added commercial value and shaped key business decisions
- Great relationship building and influencing skills, with a background of managing and inspiring multiple stakeholders
- Part/fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Experience modelling data using Excel
The role requires an individual with strong commercial awareness, a pro-active approach and a problem-solving mind set, to demonstrate real business value to financial and non-financial stakeholders. You will be working with a large amount of data to deliver insight and drive performance with the operational leads. Through a deep understanding of your business areas, you will be able to highlight risks and opportunities and objectively challenge and influence stakeholders to help drive decisions that are both commercially compelling and financially secure.
It is not essential, but experience using Finance and Business Intelligence systems would be advantageous. We are a business that embraces change, so you need to be able adapt quickly, whilst being able to meet deadlines and deliver ongoing projects.
