About the role
In support of this vision, as a Finance undergraduate, you will have your own responsibilities within an area of the function, working with a supportive, experienced team. You will also have the opportunity to get to know and work with other areas within Finance and understand how they all fit together.
General role responsibilities can include support of budget and business plan preparation, reconciliation of accounts, data analysis, as well as the opportunity to understand and implement double entry bookkeeping and financial accounting.
Working in the Finance team provides the opportunity to work across cultures, innovate past processes and introduce new ones, and utilise your skills to contribute to the team as well as the company as a whole. In addition, you will get the opportunity to attend training courses and have access to the online learning portal, to gain as much knowledge as you can through the year.
Requirements
You do not need to have a finance background but it is beneficial that you have a general interest in Finance, due to the numerical nature of the work. A lot of your work will require use of Microsoft Excel, and SAP R3 and Business Warehouse.
