Our Finance team manages and balances complex budgets across our global business. Multiple regions, multiple categories and covering all aspects of the finance cycle. The team provides control and stability, which enables our family-owned business to be agile, adapt to constant change and focus on growth. Integrated across our global business, the team delivers data and strategy, sharper insight and forecasting that supports commercial decision-making to shape our future.
About the role
Our Finance Graduates are ambitious, resilient and tenacious. Within the three year programme Dyson will train you in everything finance and will support you through your studies to obtain the ACCA qualification. You will also rotate through placements in different areas of finance and across the business – supporting our markets, engineers, and commercial strategies. Placements could be across continental Europe as well as the UK depending on business need, so you’ll need to be flexible to undertake whatever comes your way.
In all of the placements across the three years you’ll need to demonstrate quick learning and adaptability, and you’ll need to be able to balance the demands of work and study alongside each other. You can expect big responsibility and plenty of autonomy. It’s not easy but over the course of the three years you’ll be supported with a development framework, enabling professional growth, training and opportunities to hone your skills and evolve your knowledge.
Requirements
Applications from a wide range of degrees are welcome, knowing that diversity helps us solve the engineering, commercial and financial problems of the future. You’ll need to have (or be expecting) a 2.1. But it is not just about education. We really need to see what you’ve achieved.
Whether it’s through internships, work experience or extra-curricular activities, you’ll be expected to evidence working in high performing teams but stand out as an impressive individual contributor. You’ll also need to demonstrate a commitment to a career in finance and obtaining the professional qualification that goes along with it.
