About the role

Rather than being a team of specialists in one limited discipline, this team has shared core skills such as IT Project Management and Business Analysis combines with specialist skills that each team member can dedicate themselves to – such as IT procurement, Information Security, Business Continuity, Office IT. The IT Consultancy team directly in Mace client-facing projects, typically alongside PMO Services and project delivery consultant colleagues. Their work includes:

  • Understanding the client IT environment
  • Planning IT solution delivery
  • System and technology architecture
  • Financing – including preparing budgets, forecast, cost tracking, funding approaches
  • Bidding and business development
  • Supplier liaison and relationship building
  • Software and technology assessment
  • Information security and data protection
  • Business continuity and disaster recovery
  • Developing training strategies and plans and sometimes training end users
  • Software selection, procurement and licensing
  • Interface to Mace IT – Mace internal IT services, systems and digital strategy, Mace information security

Requirements

This role is suitable for a graduate with a strong interest technology and IT and developing their skills and experience in supporting clients in this area

In addition, the following are required

  • Evidence of significant extra-curricular activities that demonstrate drive and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong interest in IT Project Management and IT Business analysis
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A passion for a career in the Construction Industry and Data analytics
  • The ability to work effectively in a team
  • Attention to detail
  • A drive to deliver results
