Responsibilities
- Open and close the premises
- Maintain a fun, safe atmosphere for patrons
- Create effective rotas to ensure that bar is well staffed during peak hours
- Ensure all areas of the premises are cleaned
- Prepare products to be sold
- Move stock and manage inventory
- Deal with suppliers and accept deliveries
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Handle money
- Delegate tasks
- Manage social media marketing
Requirements
- Polite and well presented
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work with diverse personalities of both the staff and patrons
- Comfortable moving heavy items and being stood up for long periods of time
- Good at multitasking and solving problems in a busy environment
- Good written and mathematical skills
- Flexible attitude
- Reliable
- Can demonstrate initiative
- Having a passion and a taste for beer
- Belief in the importance of independent businesses for the high street
