The successful candidate will be working with an international energy company that owns and operates electricity transmission and distribution networks in Southern Scotland, Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales. With around 3.3m customers, it operates in a government regulated environment with targets set by the UK regulator Ofgem. The company have supported Year in Industry students for many years with great success stories.
About the role
Activities and responsibilities:
• Project Reporting
• Creation of operational reports using live data to assist the business make decisions
• Quality checks to ensure financial governance
• Opportunity to gain experience in a professional office environment
• Opportunity to present your ideas to your manager and make a difference
• Assist with managing improvement and creation of new reports
• Local travel to see operational sites (dependent on government COVID-19 restrictions)
Requirements
Critical Factors
• Should have an eye for detail
• Self-motivated to complete given tasks on time
Experience
Ideally the person would have experience of producing reports and familiar with sources of external data.
