About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic students who are undertaking their work placement year from an Accounting degree course to fill 6 posts across the Financial Accounting (Capital inc Management Accounting & Research) and Financial Management (Management Accounting & Costing) Departments. 

The post-holders will support Finance Managers in a number of functions associated with the maintenance of the Trusts Budgeting, Income, Capital, Research and Costing processes. 

Finance leadership will ensure that placement students are given dedicated support and supervision to enable them to gain a rich and fulfilling year within healthcare finance.

Requirements

Essential:

• 5 GCSE including Maths and English at Grade C or above

• Demonstrably good IT skills including proficiency in the use of Excel

• High degree of numeracy.

• Verbal reasoning

• Concentration skills to undertake complex and involved analysis

• Ability to work under own initiative.

• Meticulous.

• Conscientious.

• Communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Interpersonal skills to communicate with external bodies.
