About the role

There are three placement student roles open, supporting the Power Systems communications team. Two roles focus on the Power Generation Market segments and the other will focus on industrial and high horsepower segments, primarily the marine and oil and gas markets. You will gain hands on experience in our Sandwich, Kent office and have the opportunity to work with many internal stakeholders globally across the business.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support the development, management, planning and scheduling of content across all marketing channels
  • Assist in development and execution of marketing literature, virtual events, video creation, presentation support
  • Write and edit external publication, customer stories, news and press releases
  • Manage digital marketing content by update website content, coordinating social media efforts, etc.
  • Create internal communications for intranet site, stakeholder resources, etc.
  • Partner with external agencies to create brand compliant content to support marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Marketing, Business Administration or relevant
  • Ability to learn and work independently and remote from team members
  • Windows/Microsoft competencies
  • Proficient in writing and editing
  • Ability to think creatively, and create and critique visual marketing materials
